Cats and Friends

Best place to ever exist in the whole of tashkent (and maybe the whole of uzbekistan too?). The staff are lovely and so nice and the cats are so happy, friendly and playful. Its really cheap its only £3-4 compared to england where its £8-15 and you get free coffee and tea. We went here everyday we were in tashkent to the detriment of missing out on seeing some museums and parks because the cats are just that cute :D

The cat cafe in Tashkent now has already 23 cats , they weren't adopted from the streets but from the cat adoption center. They are all vaccinated , sterilized and take a shower every 3 months. It says a networking cafe but it's too pricey plus you will be distracted by cuteness all around you and will not have time for work. This place is purely for enjoyment and cat cadeling. Cats all have different personalities just like we people. The name cafe doesn't mean it they don't have cakes or bakeries but you can get a free coffee and a tea. You have to pay for the bottle of water and cat snacks. The cat kitchen is open at all times and cats go whenever they feel hungry, they are all looked well after, even when they don't get along with each other the stuff comes to make a Peace and separates the fighting cats. You can adopt a cat feeling up the nessaery papers. We spent there an hour and it wasn't enough for us great place for affectionate people probably dogs cafe would be great place as well since dogs are more affectionate compared to the cats .

Took the Baroness here as she loves cats. She was not disappointed!! We spent an hour cuddling both the kittens and the older cats. Absolute heaven

This is by far the only place you need to visit in Tashkent, its so fun the staff are really helpful and friendly and the prices are incredibly affordable literally less than £4 an hour! The cats are very sociable and they love to be played with and deserve all the attention since unlike some cafe’s they are adopted and in the most genuine need of it and they are very reciprocal in that. Also infinite tea and coffee even if most of the time will be looking after cats so what is not to love!

Nice overall. Despite harsh criticism from other reviews, I want to say that it is worth your time. First of all, I like cats, and know quite a bit, so I went there expecting cats being cats and yes, they are aloof and maybe asleep all the time, but if you know how handle felines, and give them space, you would have a really pleasant time. Cons: - There are no carpets so you cannot sit on the floor. As strange as it sounds, I really wanted just to sit there and play/feed the cats from down bellow. - The prices are higher than those that is written on the instagram, almost twice as much so be prepared. Other than that I am really glad that I came, there are a lot of cats, 23 to be precise, they are all well maintained, their fur is silky smooth, there is a cat sme, but it does not bother you much as you would think. Each and every one have their own personality and they take some time to get used to you, luckily there are treats that you can buy for cheap and you are instantly swarmed by them. So if you like cats and want to spend some quality time, make sure you visit the place. Places like this are quite rare to say the least.

Nice concept! A bit pricy however. The cats were all treated nicely from what I saw. There were plenty of places for the cats to hide. The cats can be very scratchy though, hygiene was just Okay-ish and the coffee was not really good here. Therefore a minus point.
